Once you are logged in, please follow the instructions on the screen.

You do not need to vote for all the categories in one go, and you will be able to return to your voting pages at a later date by logging in again. To ensure your voting selections are saved for later please use the ‘Save your progress’ button. However, it is important to note that ‘once you click ‘submit’, your vote for all categories will be cast and cannot be changed.

The ballot is open 24 hours a day and closes at 12pm on Monday 2 March 2026. You must have voted by that time for your vote to be included in this round.

The information

When you access the site you will see a list of award categories. Select the category you wish to vote on and you will be taken to a page to select the candidates.

You can indicate up to 4 preferences per category from a dropdown list of the eligible candidates. Please select your vote in order of preference starting with your 1st choice (i.e. choosing 1 for your first choice, 2 for your second choice, etc).

You do not have to vote in every category (e.g. if you do not think there are any worthy candidates in a particular category), but in those categories in which you do vote, you should vote for 4 candidates, unless you feel there should be less than 4 nominations in the category.

The theatre panel has now met and discussed all main theatre categories. They have marked with 3 asterisks (***) to denote those candidates that the panel feel are worthy of attention by voters.

Where there are fewer candidates in a category, there are no indications of the panel’s preferences.

Please note: for the 4 categories of Actor in a Supporting Role, Actress in a Supporting Role, Supporting Actor in a Musical, and Supporting Actress in a Musical, the lists are made up of approximately 10-15 candidates who have been long-listed by the panel, due to the number of people potentially eligible for these categories. Therefore, there are no asterisks for these categories.

Round 2 voting for the winners will open on 5 March and you will receive more information closer to the time.

Yours sincerely,

The Olivier Awards Team
